Does this mean he will be stripped of all of his upgrade points and downgraded back to Cat 3 or will he have to stay at Cat 2 and get his teeth kicked in without his go-go juice?

I actually got pulled for a random test last year (not bike racing). It's nice to go to into one of those with a clean conscience.

I have been drug tested more than anyone else in my company.
I actually have my own stall at the lab complete with couch, television, mini-bar and private parking space

I hear some people are demanding Strava require a urine sample for all KOM's.
Right now over in the 50+ regular guy forum there's a thread on low "T". Have at the 60 year old guy who's tired all the time and lost his sex drive who rides the occasional century.
I raced against more than one guy using EPO. I would probably be very fast on EPO, if the way these guys killed me was any indicator. Zero doubt I'm racing against juiced guys right now.
But honestly when I hear one of the guys I raced against got popped my reaction is to shrug. Don't care. It's amateur bike racing, or in this case amateur bike riding for chrissakes. As silly as it is to take EPO or steroids to race in some industrial park I think it's equally as silly for some Cat4 to be making medical decisions based on WADA and whether or not he can get a TUE to race in some industrial park.
And it's the height of hysteria to test schlubs at a Fondo (and it wasn't a UCI qualifier BTW).
I sacrifice enough for this sport. If I developed an illness or condition where the best medicine was on the banned list, I get to either quit the sport or compromise my health. To race around an industrial park for a T shirt.
The list of things that are forbidden under WADA is long and somewhat complex. When I heard they were testing at the NYGF I shook my head. I bet 35% of the riders were out of compliance during the year, if not a lot more. And 98% didn't know what was even on the list. How many people you think had TUE's?
And if you weren't a licensed racer the punishment would be what? They take your bike away? Go stand in the corner?
I could do a shovel full (no relation to Shovel) of EPO and steroids and never get caught even if they tested every race I did. Look at how many pros were on a program and never tested positive, and that's when people show up at all hours of the day and night with bottles for them to fill. I'd bet that there were a bunch of juiced guys laughing their asses off about how these guys didn't know to avoid a positive. Testing at the races just tells you who the really stupid people are.
Folks who signed up for this Fondo agreed in the fine print that someone could come to their house and take their blood and urine. That's kinda depressing when you think about it.
A few weeks ago someone posted about having to lie to the investors about the condition of the company they worked for. The response was a lot more tepid than for this. That's pretty depressing.
But you know what's really depressing?
"GFNY raised money for Operation Smile, a charity that provides children with facial deformities a normal life through surgery"
I'm sure those kids didn't need the money they spent checking people's urine.

I thought it was a masters qualifier or some such thing. It was in 2011 at least.

The Strava testing has been confirmed. Anyone know Rkwaki's home address? I need to post this on the Strava blog so folks can send in their zip locks.

I'm not even sure what a Grand Fondo is. From what I can tell it's some sort of fredly timed century ride with "winners".
Train more, dope less.

from https://pherolibrary.com/androstadienone/430
Androstadienone, more commonly known as A1, is a very popular pheromone within the pheromone community. One of it’s more remarkable effects is that it can elevate a woman’s mood, and even alleviate PMS stress! It has been known to increase intimacy and comfort, and can also increase caring feelings. It has been called the “love pheromone” because of the nature of the feelings and reactions it induces in women, and also because of it’s usefulness in more cozy relationship situations.
