I know US has the cat 5 to cat 1 system, what do they have in canada?? I suppose I should know this... where do I find out about racing in CAN?

Hi We have the same Cat's 1 through 5 designations up here. you can also enter most races on a day license, up to 3 I believe.

We also have categories for "Fawkin' Buddies" and "Oh, Geez, Eh!" level racers.

Last year I competed in a special 'Hoser' category. We were required to drink strong beer instead of water/sport drink, eat back-bacon, and wear toques under our helmets. Instead of a starters pistol, some guy just yelled "Take off, eh!"

Nearly got eaten by a friggin' polar bear at turn 3, eh.
