Years ago there was this super creepy guy in our club and this woman came out alone and he started leching all over her, touching her, etc. She came up to me and a friend and asked us to shield her from him. We became friends and rode together for a few years afer that.
The club leaders told the creepy guy he was not welcome to ride with us because of the way he acted around women, but he came back after a few months.

I've been using these as well to replace my Krylions I was using. Seem to be a bit improved over the Krylions. Had them about 3k miles and they are still going strong. They feel a bit better quality than the Krylions, and seem to be lasting a bit longer as well. Haven't flatted yet. Impressed so far!

Today, she was pulling the group over some rolling hills and when we stopped he started giving her crap about leading. I told her not to feel bad about being strong.
I think she's cool and we all like having her there and I hope this dude doesn't drive her away.
Does anyone call the dude out in all of this? If anyone should GTFO from the group it's him.

i just want to say one thing, i might be the stereotypical teenage boy, who's sole goal is to get in every girls pants, but guys like the one's mentioned in the above posts are awful. It's one thing to flirt with a girl, its a whole different thing to impose yourself on one. I was at a party a year ago where one of the girls was in a similar position as the one's above, but unlike the girl in john's post she was trying not to mention it because she was hosting the party, and trying to keep everything under control. Well, about 50 minutes into the party i notice she's arguing with this one guy, so i go get one of my buddies and we tell him he needs to leave. A small argument/fight breaks out and eventually we get him to leave.at the end of the night, the girl hosting the party comes and find my buddy and me, and thanks us. To me, it wasn't something that needed to be thanked, it shouldn't even be a question on what you would do in that situation.

We've got a guy like that in our group. Thankfully he's been having more success with match.com lately.

My wife is frequently the only female rider in our groups. A situation she laments but we can't do much bout. Though no one (male) has been as obnoxious as some mentioned in posts she has described a couple of guys as "creepy."

Seems to be a wide-spread problem.

We use to have that problem with my wife (being the lone female) until she started racing. Now she's hooked up with a number of fellow female racers and lots of time I'm the only guy on the group ride

Thing is my wife, and the female riders she does get to ride with, drop me pretty quick, then I'm just the lone creepy guy chasing a group of women who appear to be trying to run away from me.

probably a good sign to me that i should avoid riding when it's commuting time as this happened around 5pm

Our club doesn't even keep track of anyone's results except through self indulgent emails here & there.

Now we're talking...
WR sometimes just waiting to comment gives better material and RB was kind enough to provide that material.

BTW - as immature as I am if you want to see ole rk get pissed be disrespectful to a woman. I once had to 'tune up' friend who was abusive to his girlfriend. Once he healed he was a changed man.
