^ Yes, Just a slightly different commute. So I will be getting my butt kicked on the bike by the same crew this year.
Just need to pack up my coffee mug, mouse pad and steal a few pens.

He's getting a tooth, almost. Front 4 teeth visible in his gum. Crawls everywhere. Wants to examine every new detail of everything he sees. No fear. Stands without support sometimes without realizing it. Starting to have opinions. And he's not yet 10 months old.

He's just amazing, I just love him like crazy.
That's awesome! He's lucky to have engaged parents.

+1 good story cdr. We came home from the hospital with Thing One and had so many blowouts that I went and bought 10 new crib blankets so we could make it more than a day w/out doing laundry. After a few days, we realized that we weren't fastening tight enough, and this wasn't normal. Much better after that.

Are you sure the big diaper isn't too big in the legs and back? Might be better to lower capacity for a better fit?

I was thinking of tighter diapers but no, I think they're good. The blowouts came when he was sick and there was no way anything was containing that stuff. He will pee through the diaper in 4 hours or so (regular type) and in less than 8 hours (12 hour type).

He's funny - he blows up his stomach when we put the diaper on so it's loose when he lets his breath out. I just wait for him to breathe out then I snug it up.

We were using cloth diapers during the day until about 2-3 weeks ago when he got sick. We may go back to them next week but he pees through them in about an hour, i.e. in one pee.

We used to use Newborn size. Now we're on size 4s. The Newborn size looked like a wallet. These look like diapers.

I feel lucky to be able to be this engaged. The feel like the Missus misses out - he's done very few things for the first time when she's around. But right now, yeah, it's an optimal situation for Junior.

Missus and I had our first free evening moment from Junior. Her mom is here so we left Junior with Grandma and left the house. We went and got fuel for the cars. We drove back. Life is so exciting. Haha.

Picture of our date destination.

He's such a good kid although the fact that I'm up right now means he was up recently. He's still coughing a lot in his sleep.

My friend Matt's doing the stay at home dad thing too. His wingman is now five months old, and the two of them seem to be having a ball together.

Holy! This bug, or whatever it is, is sure holding on....

Still feeling like crap and run down. Not sure when I'll be hopping back on the bike again, but I want to make sure I'm good before I do. I find that when I push myself with this one that it only makes it worse.

Watched Field of Dreams last night...Lots of missing dad moments
