Are you looking for victory salutes? Any finish line shot? Breaks that will ultimately succeed? It's sort of a broad request. And do you only accept road wins? Cause I might have something for cyclocross.

Then last year I won Vance Creek Road Race (cat 3):
(this captured the exact moment I cursed as I crossed the line, yielding a warning from the officials - apparently there's a rule against that!)
There are more wins, but these are the only ones I have photos from - lucky to have these at least!

Thumper. Rotax motor with individual exhaust ports for each valve.
I top ten'd a couple of F2 nationals on that bike and won a bunch of local stuff. Seriously primitive by comparison to today's motards.

nice...my lower photo above is a Ducati 748, heavily modified (otherwise an even slower lump). There was no class for it at the time so I had to race modern 600's in the regional stuff, and did as well as 6th. It handled very well and had a slipper clutch...but was easily down 10+ hp.

I raced that XT500 in 600 production. Was winning for a year then the Seca and GPZ 550's came out. Funny how brakes and horsepower can affect the outcome of a race.
I remember the first time I saw a Ducati back in the 70's. I figured any manufacturer that would put v-stacks instead of air cleaners on a street bike had the right direction.
Wise was hot stuff for a while till he realized crashing in a road race left a bigger dent than crashing on a motocross track. BTW the photo is from '78. We were well ahead of the motard curve...the only way to stop that thing at the end of a long straight after the little front brake would cook was to chuck it sideways. Pretty white knuckle when the guy in front of you would shut the door.

really what I like about the ducati was it (like the 2 strokes I raced mostly) was easy to work on. Unlike the modern 4 stroke junk.
But the 125's and 250's I raced, to me, were the real thing. Obviously, being production race bikes...they came ready to go. With spares...
but you knew this.

I should have never left the 250 class. In the long run it was cheaper and easier and I had a lot more success than compared to the Superbike and BOT stuff; at least you were in the ball park of the factory run teams.
Cortisone was my friend in my early 40's. The bike racing has made me take better care of my body so I haven't seen a big needle in a while. Talking to the doctors about my back and neck after my shunt at San Dimas last year was pretty funny. They were trying to figure out the vintage on the various breaks and I asked if I got a free CT once I broke all the L-series.
We'll drive the alien anthropologists batty when they dig us up in a thousand or so years.

The AMA shot itself in the foot when they shined the 250 class. Among other times. But thats a different thread derailer.
Ive only got one hinge in each collarbone. Its the separated AC joint that wasnt repaired properly that still gives me grief. And the big needles sucked, but helped me quite a bit.
