way out of line. and tone down the swagger, and it should probably be toned down even when you do have something to back it up.
For all it matters, you are the 17-yr old taking jabs at adults with jobs, families, and kids, and while you may think it's all fun and game to be nonchalant about jabs like this, it shows just how patient all the real adults (read, yours truly not included) are to have put up with stuff like this. I don't want to see this place turn into the other place, so please, save it for the other place or save it when you are with your friends. People come here for diversion, not to get flack from someone with less than half the life experience they have.

Your funny man keep it up but leave family out of it. To alot of people it is a very sensitive (most sensitive?) topic.
I know thats what makes it funny but theres a fine line.

Do I have to post in this thread or will my subscription to the 5 cents thread work?

There's this thing called signal to nose ratio. If you're 95% noise, people are either going to ignore you or get pissed off. It's all about a balance, which seems to be tipped too much in one direction.

Looking forward to new gear and team kits arriving. I think our stuff should be in sometime next week, but I could just be over eager. There was a lot of chatter in an earlier thread about kit suppliers, looks like our team settled on the new Helix kit from Primal. At first, I was disappointed to hear we weren't going with LG, but after seeing the Interbike presentation below, I'm actually kind of excited about this. I think the new kits and their design is going to look really good.
EDIT: I think new gear should be in next week, kits probably won't till some time in December.

The new S-Works shoes. I've been using a pair of the Road Pros for the last three years, and I've been really happy with them, but its time for something new. I wanted to get the red ones, but the matte black just looked too good. Picked up a new lid recently as well, though that was out of necessity. I'm going to see about getting another set of speedplays for the track bike, and maybe keep the Road Pro shoes for particularly bad weather.

doooooode, did you know it could save you 6W? and it's probably vertically complaint and horizontally stiff, to boot.

I have a pair of S-Works shoes that must be 6 years old now. They're just awesome, but getting a bit raggedy. I'd love to get those all black retro style S-Works, but my team shop is a Mavic dealer. Hmmm. I know guys have jumped ship for a frame deal. Would it be a first to jump ship for a shoe deal?
But damn, that's an awesome looking shoe...
Also:
Damn, just discovered they come in white too. Neat.

Ive also had much more fun on the mtb this year. The more I ride it the more I like it (thats what she said)...and considering Im moving to Co I can see additional mtb's in my corral, and possibly less road riding. However after spending more time on the mtb maybe I'll be re-enthused about the road. We'll see, but Im really enjoying riding off-road.

BCSM took the prototype of the final shoe and undertook tests on the all-new chassis. With the shoe optimised with pro foot beds and inserts dedicated to that rider, they found they were 28 seconds faster over a 10km time trial (on a roller set-up in lab conditions) against the previous version - a huge gain.
BCSM also tested the shoes straight out of the box with no optimisation and found over the same course that the rider had a 6.5 watt improvement, with less knee deviation. We can only take them at their word as we’ve yet to try the new shoes. We'll be testing them out over the coming days so we'll report back soon on our initial impression.

I own the 2013 s-works and the 2012 s-works shoes. I won't get into the marketing claims but I can tell you the redesigned boa system and asymmetrical tongue wraps the foot much better. It seems like it would be minor but it is a noticeable improvement. Wouldn't be the only reason I would buy the shoes, but I like it. O the down side, the 2013 Boa dials seem to require more tweaking during a ride. That could be an anomaly. Might also be something I need to tighten. I've been on the 2013s for 2.5 months.
re the 74s...they are sharp in person. I actually have a pair that I am planning to sell. I basically out cleats on and tried them for fit but never used them. Wound up getting a very early pair of 2013s and the 2012s became y back-up. If someone is interested, shoot me a note. They will go on ebay when I get around to it. They are 42.5s.
