Yea, for some reason I never really placed having backup lights as a high priority. It can be frustrating to purchase a nice light and have it fail like that due to water. I mean its 2013 and there are plenty of applications out there that deal with lights and water. At least my lbs should replace this for free but I may have to pick one up today unless they let me borrow one.

you used homemade EPO on your dog?

I assume we're talking in code.

Is this where the chemist moniker comes from?

Are you the heisenberg of the endurance athletic scene?

This weekend was good for the girls' Lego robotics team. They finished their robot chassis and got through a couple programming problems I gave them for practice. In no time, they were developing competing designs for the first two challenge tasks, tested, picked one, and the robot consistently beat those challenges. We've got a couple more weeks now to solve bigger problems.

They're doing great and learning a ton.

On my ride yesterday, I went 15 minutes without seeing a single car. I stop to take a leak on the side of the road, and five cars pass me.

was that article real, or just a skimmed collection of cliches?

That article was as 'real' as the 'real fruit juice!' used in gummy bears. The words are real, but there's so much other garbage in it that it ruins the whole thing.

It was too stupid to even irritate me. What was the point? To let people know expensive bikes exist?

I mean, please, people are wearing 50k watches or spending 5k on a bedazzled iphone. Rich people, amiright?

I think the worst part is the 'racing' being done on Strava. Do people really think that way?

I'd also like to note that my main competition for the bathroom is on paternity leave this month. Really makes my day so much more enjoyable.

Even if I was rich I wouldn't ride a 15k bike; you're spending probably an extra 7k for 1% improvement (the reduced weight). Guess I'm too practical.
