Congrats WR, I was oh so close... Now I'll hopefully have it paid off by the time I retire...

College/Uni savings has been growing at the same time, but I believe it's cheaper up here...

We (Chevrolet) have half ton pickups over $50k for the first time. Blows my mind. Almost the price of a Corvette.

Speaking of power, a guy brings in his 2014 Corvette complaining it doesn't have enough power, that he can feel it's down on power when going up an on-ramp. The thing has over 500hp with a 7 speed manual trans. I drove it in 'track' mode and it will just light the rear tires with a little stab at the gas pedal. I think it's ridiculous that people have such a thing and this guy wants more. Louis C.K. said "Everything's amazing, and nobody's happy".

Ugh, sorry.

I'm sitting around waiting for it to be time to drive to my race. Extended race nerves - yuck.

I bought a used Sienna off Ebay for $10k with 60k miles. It's got 160k on the clock now. Other than service and expendables like tires and brakes, we have maybe $100 in repairs into the thing. 25-30 MPG, and the CHP verified the thing will do 92 pretty easily.

BTW, the ticket cost me $365. I should get Matt to plead my case.

Catching it early is key. Her test came back negative 6 months ago, but with the inconclusive nature of current tests, we think she may have been positive for a while. Her whole senior year of high school is pretty much flushed down the toilet because of all the problems. We now have to go back to the school & beg for exemptions due to the Lyme and hope they let her graduate even though she has missed so much.

little nervous for a crit tomorrow...it is up-down, up-down, 110 feet of climbing per lap with some fast turns. i'm traveling and have only wheels with carbon brake tracks.

main thing that concerns me is i'm under strict orders not to go down with my collarbone still healing.

hm. gusting to 35mph, 1/2-3/4" rain predicted. hmm.

otherwise, racing out here is super fun.

Did you modify it into a motorcycle? Looks like 18/25 on those things. You pulling it around for training?

Sitting and having coffee with a female friend at THE cafe in town when the ex walks up. That was interesting....

We're civil and all, but I'll be happy when she moves out of town next week. A bit of separation in a separation is a good thing.

Team ride in a few hours where I will once again inevitably end up staring at her ass. It's a cute ass, but I've stared at it enough lol

Say what? I'm not aware of any minivan configuration that gets that sort of mpg. Certainly not my Sienna.

I drove a 2013 Grand Caravan last year back and forth to Tulsa and got just over 30mpg for the whole trip (2100 miles)
