No I meant to say it as I gave all the effort I could within the 5 minutes, so like a paced, all out effort. Those were the best ones I've done also because I still had enough energy to complete that last one just as well as the others and for a guy who despises wind, I did them all into a headwind with strong gusts.

Day off Monday
Yesterday 1:15 recovery for 30 TSS. I really don't like these days. I get so bored, maybe I need to wear headphones?
Sprint workout later today - 20min z3, 3 sets of 5 sprints, and 20min z3 should be fun

Team training ride last night. First group ride in a loooong time.

My ass was handed to me. And about half the group for that matter. It felt good.

Impressive. If I actually try to make a loop out of it (instead of just up and down), best I've managed is 22mi, 4400'.

same here. couldn't resist riding. collarbone is apparently not really ready to ride yet, so it didn't go very well, but it was nice to be out there for a little while.

Yeah, it's pretty much straight up averaging 6% the whole time. It was rough, it's here in Vegas, the descent took like 25 minutes at 40mph. I was slow..very slow, i think i averaged 7.5 on the way up, still got a massive work out in.

I was completely pooped yesterday after getting in very late from my work trip. I wanted to ride, but just couldn't. Ended up spinning for a 1/2 hour on the back porch on rollers. I felt a little better after that, but still crazy tired at bed time. I'm feeling better today. A real ride in the cards, I hope.

Anyway, 12hrs logged on bike since Monday. Highest volume I have hit pre weekend all year!

Race coming up has a long climb....sucks that I don't really have any long climbs near me.

Nice-on 5500 in 17 miles.

You inspired me and today I got 4989 feet in 22 miles, 9 of it downhill. A little longer overall but that's the concentration of the climbing.

Insert complaint about cold weather etc. etc.

Of course as soon as I get 5 miles from my house it starts raining like a monsoon on my goddamn head. I hate this gay state its full of terrible weather year round...

TSS = 142.
NP = 250W

Tried to break 600W for 1min but failboated around 42 seconds. Was holding a steady 610W but right at 42 I just popped...Will try again next week after this weekends races.

At the speedway again today. It was a great ride! I felt like throwing up on the way there, but then after riding away from the pace lines that we had going twice I realized that maybe I was feeling pretty good after all Also got in a nice post ride snack of granola mixed in yogurt that had apparently expired on March 2nd...
