2 straight days of evil lil over-under threshold intervals (90% under, 108% over). These things hurt like a mother, i must say.

Still doing (lots of) base. Z2 and Z3. At least he's got me varying the cadence in the intervals... sitting there doing big gear for 45min at a time makes the ass hurt. Was supposed to do some big gear stomps last night which don't work so well on rollers. By 10 seconds I'm at 155rpm doing 50mph.

Does anyone cut their CD short when doing low intensity stuff like this? My plan says 15min, but I usually go for 5 or so. Just enough so my HR falls to ~110 or below.

When it comes to rollers, which size drums enable you to do harder efforts without spinning out? I would guess big drums...

Haha, yea I just jump off the bike and straight into the shower, even when doing sub-LT intervals.

@CDR, see my strava ride for details

---
@above

Smaller drums and a resistance unit.

Though it kinda sucks doing hard efforts as i never got comfortable and even got a bit numb after 20min...

If I'm outside, my cooldown is however long it takes me to get home. If I'm inside, it's often just long enough to catch my breath and then into the shower.

Washington has plenty. I see it this way, if a bike frame breaks because I rode it (on a trainer or no), then it was defective. The manufacturer lying to me and telling me it wasn't defective doesn't put the bike back together.

With my output (or lack thereof), it's not likely to be an issue.

Well, with today's ZCI™s, I got back 7W of the missing 5W.

So that's good.

I tend to treat people similarly to how they treat me. I've been screwed over countless times, but rarely twice by the same person.

1:30 on the trainer, legs were just shot from yesterday so I barely managed 125 watts avg. I broke 200w for 5 seconds but not 10 seconds. Ha.
