Very long day in the saddle, 250ish TSS. Ran over a squirrel, barely stayed up going up a dirt road. Did my best CDR impersonation and did pretty good staying in the drops.

Spun for an hour at 100+ rpm, active recovery!

A bit chilly this morning, but of course really sunny.

Single speed repeats on a 6% hill (vs the 8% hill I've been using the previous couple of weeks), in the snow, at night. 80 minutes at 97% of FTP and felt great doing it.

Finally some progress!

2 hours z1 spin with one of my teammates this morning. Moved my long ride to tomorrow since Sunday was pretty tough and also didn't feel like hitting rain either

easy day, cruised around. Some guy on a beat up Jamis kept drafting me, I would slow down and he would stay on my wheel...ugh. Then when I come up to a stop sign and slow down he slams on his brakes, shoots on the right of me and yells, "why are you slowing dude...".

Cuz there was a stop sign and I am on a recovery cruise? I just said, "stop sign" and he flew away.

I was seriously going like 14 mph on the flats when he was drafting me, no idea if he was high or wut.

Typical Tuesday:

Commute 1: spinning, z1/2
Commute 2: Max power for a few reps whenever I could.
Evening ride: 1' all out + 4x5' all out. First one beat my 5' PR by 13 watts.

I love the quick gains that come with the first month of interval training ever (probably why I like doing them all out still).
