nice! i'll bet that a short while ago that seemed unimaginable, and in a few weeks it will seem trivial.

healing, in general, and rehab, specifically, can take a lot out of a body.

Got shelled at the Tuesday Night World's. My fd hasn't been working too well which isn't a biggie in the flats but once the climb flattened I couldn't shift into the big ring and keep up. Once settled in I caught some dudes, but still way off the back. Shouldn't have gained that 10 lbs during my vacation, but damn those donuts in Portland were good.

...so wouldn't it make sense to adjust it? bikes don't heal themselves, shockingly.

2 of my five sprints today surpassed previous best numbers. All 5 were within range of all time bests. I guess that's good.

I was around 173lbs, and the KoM is 13 seconds ahead of me. Frank is at least 40lbs lighter than I am.

Fast group ride yesterday. Kept the pace at 23-25mphr for 15 miles, took a short break where my coworkers make a u turn and head back to the office. Finished the other 10 miles home with 10, 25 sec all out sprints.

Tuesday night worlds last night. Felt great and was able to push it. Bit of riding before and after put me at 3:20 and 274 TSS.

Last week I was getting dropped and this week was so much better - Hate the ups and downs.

bagh...I need to get it together. Every day around lunch I go out to eat or run errands. There is a decent Cat 2 that works in the office next door and just about every time I leave in my car or on foot he heads out on his bike for a ride. Need to start bringing the bike and taking advantage of that time and open road.

I went out for my lunch ride and wanted to climb prior to hamilton. Worked well. Was beaten up the hill, so that shows I need to be conservative. Set an all-time PR, so that shows my training is still working.

Bike Ride Profile | TNR - OLH (been a long time) near Stanford | Times and Records | Strava

For NorCal people. 16:16 OLH.

Man, I'm still "working" on breaking 20:00 on that climb.

By working I mean every time I end up being dragged up the damn thing by some silly group ride, I try.
