not sure "slowly" means what you think it does.

well, maybe not quite "slowly", but it doesn't feel like i'm making myself suffer so much to lose it at this point so maybe that's why it feels slow to me

Ex you should visit Lake Louise. Awesome downhill and XC. The Chateau is high enough to count as an altitude camp, but it's expensive.

Photo taken from the rail trestle in Rosendale NY.

Friend's photo taken from the mountain that looms over the trestle (taken last week before the big snow):

That's very true with any shoulder area injury. The pain is telling you something. Don't rush the recovery process, let yourself heal. Train smart.

Sorry for the trestle photo bombs but here's one more, my kids at the same place as the doggie, a couple months ago. It's a photogenic spot.

The trestle was opened last summer as part of the Ulster County rail trail network, which everybody hopes will bring more tourists to the area. So everybody please come visit!

Well, I did collegiate road nats in 2012, and only raced a little after that in 2012 so I would have enough time to finish my masters. Moved to Wisconsin for a job, bought a house, and now I feel like I finally got all settled in.

I haven't raced since late 2012, and other than commuting to work 3-5 times a week, I've only ridden 2-3 hours a week. I'm looking forward to getting back into racing form, and joining the Wisconsin racing scene this year. Should be fun and painful!

i'm not sure if the roads further away from DC are clear, so looks like rollers it is. I may have a 4-hr long indoor ride lined up today. ugh. last week i did 120 TSS on my rollers (warm up + 2 hrs of high Z2), and my back started to kill me after 3 hours.

Nice ride! I envy you the terrain that allows for 3.5 hours of speed on the flats.
