96' total with a delicious nougat center of 2x20's. 106tss.
To answer the question upstream, I try to do shorter/higher intensity first after a recovery day then longer/lower intervals following. Quality really suffers for me if I try to do more than 3 days in a row. I'll watch my TSB and correlate it with how my legs actually feel.

Well, seeing as I did sprints yesterday, and I've been kinda sucking at Z5 lately, I chose VO2 hill repeats today and see how I feel about 1' intervals tomorrow. Planned on 6 repeats, but the old 2-week-after-cold cough came up last night and kept me up til past 11. So woke up late and squeezed in 4 before riding to work. Still like 10% lower power than last year.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh this strange warm weather and clear skies in January is making me think of spring already. Indoor trainer workout was therefore extra dull.

yeah. something like 50% of my miles on that bike last year were in races. the goal this year is to be able to focus on pedaling, and not not-crashing.

3 Twenty Minute Intervals at 85% of FTP. 100 tss, 1000 kjs. Numbers were about 10 watts off, but with all the work I've been doing on and off the bike I'll take it. Its hell week.

Yet another 4hrs, endurance. I'm still feeling Tuesday's ride. Looking forward to rest day tomorrow.

After a couple weeks of letting myself be too distracted for proper training, I'm shaking it off and back at it. 90 minutes the last two days, varying Z3 workouts. Was planning on some long rides outside this weekend, now it looks like we might be getting some actual winter weather over the weekend. FML. Maybe I can talk some friends into a trainer party.

Started to see if I could do threshold stuff today on the trainer, just wasn't feeling up to it yet post-flu, went outside instead for 90mins with partial MUP riding

Are you going by HR or by power? If by HR, it's much harder to nail a threshold workout because getting your HR up into threshold range quickly requires a much bigger effort than threshold. At least, that was the problem I always had, I wanted to get the HRM into the targeted training zone as soon as I could, which actually meant starting out too hard and then fading. So it made not feeling well that much more of a deterrent to training, though perhaps that's as it should be.

At least 10 hours per week. Never full speed for me. I like to enjoy the streets and paysage. Week end some upper body weight training

1+ minute intervals and commute today. I've decided I love 1' intervals. Gives me noodle legs and makes me throw up a little. Fun. And it's fun to pass the same walkers multiple times riding the same direction. Definitely need rest tomorrow! New stem is here, TT practice on Saturday in the proper position. Anyone here practice in the funny looking helmet, or just avoid the weird looks and save it for race day?
