Damn Tmonk, get well. There was a nasty crash on the morning ride today. 3 guys went down, one (pretty sure he has posted here on occasion) was unconscious for a couple minutes, came to and took an ambulance to the ER. I hear he has slight brain bleeding

tell me what happened. I saw Menko and Tom, who else. I presumed that was all one incident?

Mark as well. He was fine, Menko mostly ok, bruised up hip and damaged helmet. You can read on Strava. We were like a thousand wide on that slight downhill left hand turn on portola on the way from 84 toward sand hill. And I guess they bumped and went off the side. It happened in front of me but I didn't really see it cuz I was on the far left and looking through the turn.

Allergies were pretty brutal today. 90 minutes of riding by feel; just a few days in and I'm feeling really really good. Even got a few PR's, although that probably had more to do with the tailwind.
Still just going to ride by feel for another week or two until I stop being sore from just general riding. If I may be so bold, racing in May may be a possibility.

Just got a Stages power meter, so I did some 5, 10, and 20 second tests, as well as a LT test...then went for a tempo/sweet spot group ride (in the rain...yay). It's fun to finally have 'real' data to work with ^_^

Thinking of doing "the toughest road race in Arizona" tomorrow. It's possibly a terrible idea because I haven't done a road race since last September, raced 17 crits since January and am about 10lbs overweight. Pain and suffering are guaranteed! :-)
