There's mine.

42t ring, 16t/18t cogs rear, both fixed. I've never kicked down a century on it, or even gotten close really.

I haven't ridden it much in the last two years, save for a recovery style ride or two per month, in the 18t. It lives at work, not my apt.

Maybe I'll make a point of riding it more over base - It hasn't seen a lot of use since I started riding with power about 9 months ago. TSS can be fairly accurately estimated from HR and time data.

Rest day today, played a bit on a friends kids half pipe, chilled in the hot tub, had a couple beers. Tomorrow afternoon I race, but it's only a crit. No road races on the calendar for a few weeks.

Watsonville, ha? Would have been fun crit, if they didn't have it in afternoon when it's 1000 degrees out there. Although it has been kool last few days.

Well, it's a crit, so only 1000 degrees for a short time. Anyway, I'll take 1000 degrees over early morning winter rides in 34 degree darkness.

But they do have drainage ditch things in just about every corner!

That course is so weird.

I'd be dumb enough to do it again if I could today..

Typical non rest or race Sat routine: Do the chili's group ride (~1.75 hr), then stop at the apt. to use the bathroom, get some food, and check bf before heading back out.

ahorita: Back out on the road for another hour. Will ride steady, 'cept for a couple efforts near the end, when I feel like it.

Later.

Going on first ride post crash...finally don't have a limp. Hopefully I don't have any Tom Cruise post crash nerves like in Top Gun or Days of Thunder.

Charity century today with the team. Easiest century I've ever done. Lots of smiling, waving, and good times. Oh yeah, did I mention eating? Lots of eating.

In the White Mountains for the weekend. I didn't survey the roads or put much planning into the ride, just pointed my bike to the mountains and rode. I flatted at the 100 minute point on the way out and decided to turn back as I had only one spare tube. An enjoyable spin with some short punchy climbs and long gradual stuff. I didn't find epic stuff until tonight when driving to an Inn for a light bite and beverages. My conditioning or something must be getting better as I felt fresh and wasn't hungry after the ride.

A few hours easy. At first it was hard to even get out of the saddle or push 200+ watts, towards the end my leg felt better but not perfect.

When you mentioned a limp, it made me think: be patient and allow the body to heal properly. Sometimes an extra (fill in the blank) days off or easy, saves one from chronic pain and a slower return to form.

I'm vacationing in the area so I did the Swami's ride in San Diego. Fun, fast group ride and finished up with some extra miles along the coast.
Later I went to the beach and managed to crash into some rocks while boogie boarding. Huge bruise and cut on my leg, smh.

Trustme, I'm not. My "volume" of sleep is actually good, I just wake up a lot and feel like I don't get a lot of REM sleep.

I had a weird race yesterday where I had some weird bonk/cramping thing going on. I was going to do my usual post race workout today but I still feel plain bad so I took today completely off. This is the first time I can remember this sort of thing happening, fargin weird. In any event I may do today's workout tomorrow, assuming I feel recovered. Otherwise I may take another easy day to make sure this is put behind me.
