We have those at our gym and they are too big for me for monster walking. I use the smaller 9 inch bands that you posted earlier.

Db's at new gym only go up to 100's. I'm planning on focusing on high rep stuff with DB's and working on 'strength' with BB bench. Goal is to hit 225 soon. I did 185x8 the other day, but being able to do 90x5 for DB implies that I can probably get 5 with atleast 205 at this point. Hoping to hit 225x5 within the next 2 months.

I'm going to miami towards the end of jan for a mon/tues interview. Going to go there early and take a breather. Time to kick my ass on the job and at the gym till then.

Someone else also told me to look into TRX. No clue what it is in detail. Anyone play around with it?
If you decide you want a TRX setup, I have one. I used it for about a month when I was in a pinch. PM me. (you did!)

This week I transitioned to 5x5 DL, Squat and Row plus 1x20 assistance to each muscle group and energy allowing, core on M/F . Bike Tu/W/T/S/Su. So far it seems relatively sustainable with the right rest- I don't think several herbal adoptogens are hurting anything- also cutting caffeine and diet and sleep data. The 6 or so previous weeks was on a modified (battle ropes superset ball slams, ace) rwaki's OP leg circuit 2x/week with increasing weekly kettleball weight. DL'd 275x5x5 Monday, 10 years ago my max was 400. One plan I'm thinking of is to trudge the strength through february or march, move to a month or so of a focus on heavy explosive movements, tapering out to the gate.

Pretty pumped about that.

This is the band I used last night. The only one I could find and used what was available.

I tried a different order on Wednesday and inserted the band walking right after my warmup and active stretching. I then did box jumping. The first few jumps felt much stronger. Usually, it takes a few jumps to warmup. The band walking seemed to assist the warmup. I am going to add band walking to my roller workouts and start with a warmup roller set and then band walk. Then do roller efforts.

One of my former coaches handed out the black bands. My wife uses black. I broke all my black bands - they stretch and fatigue.

The resistance increases as the band stretches which is why I like smaller bands versus the larger ones.

So I do not think it makes much difference which one you order. IMO, band walking is for activation of muscles and cross training.

If I were to buy these, I would go for the green, blue and black. The green will be easier and allow greater movement in the beginning. Walking with the blue and black is hard.

Order the one I linked. Long enough that it can also be used for other things(should rehab/prehad, band pull aparts, ect.)

I don't do other things. Particularly anything that involves my arms.

I got the perform better, green, blue, and black for $6. Hard to beat.

If yours are 3x the size wtf are mine?
When I was a big time bike racer my arms were 9", now my wrists are about that size...

I'm a bit shy of 150 now. But I'm only 5'6". Since I'm around 8% I don't have a lot more wiggle room. If I really take the fun out of life I can probably get to 145, but there's no saying I'll ride well at that weight.

Make sure you're wearing a horse mask in the after pictures. That makes it extra freaky
