as for me, i need upgrade points, so i really don't care, but at a certain point i wonder if it may be worth it to call the bluff. Though to be honest, whom am i kidding? i am a even-paced rouleur with no sprint; so if it's hilly, i'd be with the front group and if it's flat, i sure as hell ain't gonna finished 3rd sprinting from the field...

Carnage fest from the start: guy in front of me couldn't clip in and got wobbly at the start taking down another rider, dude flew off his bike into a cholla just before a sharp turn (cholla is not to be messed with!), etc. etc.
Glad to have come away in one piece and I think top ten, though I didnt stick around for results.

i work hard, and i have luck. Hopefully the points will take care of themselves.
Also my post was half jest, i'm not stressing over points. I would like them, but i know that i have a tiny bit of time before i need to start crying that i don't have my 1 upgrade!
I should be racing in a week, but honestly i'll probably miss the race just due to not wanting to drive 3 hours to race while trying to catch up on missing assignments (i've missed far to many days this month due to sickness/model un/other school ****, so i have like 5 tests to make up. I also have to miss a couple more days if i'm thinking of the right date). Oh well t'is life. <3 u all, you stupid mother duckers

one can want whatever they want. what they'll get, however, is often what they deserve (and usually related to race intelligence and hard work). some folks think hard work = crushing themselves at all possible times (in workouts and in races).
