    Buy this SRM now

    Heck of a deal:

If that doesn't work try searching:

Wireless SRM, compact FSA K-Force Lite, 170mm

Most compact SRM's are set up this way. Plenty of ring selections out there.

    Ex is picking on me

jsut you would simply pull out the old crank, install new crank. Wait is you Ridley a BB30? If so would require a sleeve. Ex can fill you in on this one.

Hey look - Ex has a new sig line - me likey

SRM usually has arms, on most of their units you can swap them out with a wrench. Bench testing for the proper slope just requires a known weight. SRM has a phone line that can help further. Initiative is a beautiful thing. Self sufficiency is important in times of crises.

can you change the slope of an srm manually? If so i can see why everyone really likes srm (as well as numerous other benefits)

I put my sig in perspective.

Slope is what it is in the meter. You do the test (or SRM does the test and pops a label on it with the slope) then you change the slope setting in your head unit (this takes 10 seconds) and it corrects the read out.

There's also an "automatic" function in the head unit that just reads the pre-programmed slope when the unit switches on, the downside is if SRM hasn't seen the unit in a while (these bed in a bit over time) this might not be 100% accurate.

Very very tempting. So I could put on my 172.5 k-force lite crank arms, get a BB30 sleeve (or 2 - one for each bike), find a 110 bcd inner ring, recalibrate and be set?
I'm sure when you were getting to the point of blowing nothing was obvious but making the pain stop...I don't know about you but after the fact I always look back at those moments and think 'why didn't I just keep going' but at the time there wasn't enough oxygen on the planet to make me take one more pedal stroke.

I don't think so. The regular K-Force light has the spider molded to the crank arms. You cannot swap out the spider on that crankset.
