Ha! I'm finally caught up with The Senior Games. I loved the look on Cavendish's face.

EBH out with a broken shoulder. Froome will run out of domestiques at this rate.

From Cyclingnews: "In an article for Le Monde earlier this week, for instance, former Festina trainer Antoine Vayer estimated that Froome produced an average power output of 446 watts on the final climb to Ax 3 Domaines on Saturday, but the yellow jersey dismissed the figures when they were put to him during his press conference after stage 12 to Tours.

"I don't think it's humanly possible to average 440 watts for a whole stage so that's out of the question. That's far, far from what I think is possible," said Froome."

Notice how they're saying 2 completely different things? Vayer talks about 446 watts for the final climb. Froome talks about 440 watts for a whole stage. Sounds more like a politician's answer than a racer if you ask me, similar to the stuff that many others have said in the past.

Who knows what's really going on. Creed wants to believe it's all hard work. It may very well be that's the truth. I would be nice if that were it. Sky makes themselves pretty stinkin' big targets, though, don't they?

You know what's more boring than doping speculations?? Nothing. Nothing is more boring than internet guesswork.

We'll just have to wait and find out..

Yep. I'm certain Contador was sitting around drinking PBR and talking about podium girls. Same with guys like Rodriguez, Evans, and Valverde. Aside from no results to speak of, they are notoriously lazy. Evans once spent an entire season in Mazatlan drinking pina coladas and would drop in at races weighing 300 lbs.

Creed's either an ostrich or a very dim bulb.

All these guys work their asses off. There's no Jan showing up overweight and under performing.

All that aside the fastest guy in the race is Kittel. When was the last time Cav got a perfect lead out and a guy came around him?

In three years the kid will probably be an obnoxious ego. Right now it's hard not to love Kittel and his team. Farging head to head with Omega down the straight. I'm not a Cav hater...but that was a thing of beauty today. Too bad Griepel hit those cobblestones.

Hey Oleg...go eff yourself.

i like valve. he's a very exciting racer. in the 2003 vuelta (i think) he was on kelme, his finishing kick at the top of climbs was fricken' dope!

i see this as a gray area that could be called "small" racing by belkin, but this is professional sports and the kind of stuff that has been going on forever in the TdF. people who think there is some kind of "honor" in the peloton should read the 100 years of the TdF book. i found the planned feedzone attacks, attacking when others had flats or crashes, or mechanicals, or some other misfortune to be fascinating.

would you say it was less or more impressive than the Gewiss in the 1994 Fleche?

Not entirely attacking when others have a misfortune, and it was not just Belkin. They were showing footage of huge wind turbines in the area, and it looks like some DS weren't paying attention; You snooze you loose.

Rolland got back on just fine.

and the evil mastermind Bjarnes attacks in the crosswind!

he may have been a doped up donkey and someone who tolerated doping, but this is pure racing shrewdness.

Sky once again showing that they don't have bike racing nearly as figured out as w/kg and time trialing. That stage was awesome to watch.
