Sufferfest Training Plans
Anyone trying these out?
Thoughts on the plan in general?
https://www.thesufferfest.com/plans/
This came out a bit too late for my "A" races this year, but I'm considering starting the Intermediate plan.
The plans are 10 weeks long but my "A" races are only 7 and 8 weeks away.

I got the email today. If you already have the videos, it's probably better than nothing. If you have to buy all the videos, it's a lot of money that could be better spent on a real coach.

Honestly, I am probably on the other end of the spectrum here from most. But I swear by Sufferfest videos. Now take that with this warning: While they will give you a good workout they are not gonna take you all the way to your A game.
But hey I say go for it. I have enough videos that I could probably do one of those plans if I wanted.

I just got the Novice Cyclocross and Novice Road Plan. The plans provide a nice structure but you need a lot of videos - (although the Novice Road plan isn't that bad). I didn't use the plans yet, but I use the videos quite a bit. Some of the videos fit nicely into the time crunched cyclist plan (which I'm using for Cyclocross seasons) as well as race-level intensity. So, on days in the training plan which calls for a Race, I'll throw on one of the Sufferfest vids (Fight Club, Extra Shot, Angels and Hunted - are all good race simulation).
I plan to use the Road plan this winter to build a base for Spring.
