Golden Cheetah help- where are all these options?

Can anyone help me understand why I can't find all of these customizable options in my Golden Cheetah like in this video?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDjeX...351933EF622D13

When I add a "Long Term Metrics" tab on my HOME view (GC 3.0), I can configure it somewhat within the chart settings, but I don't get those boxes on the right hand side with all the different data, or the options at the bottom. What am I missing, please?

    That's GC2

For GC3, you have to go to the home view, then click on the "add chart" icon in the upper right corner (it's not labeled, stupidly)

Then you get a bunch of choices. It's as if all of the stuff in the video is still there, but in the form of a jigsaw puzzle that has been put into a coffee can. Enjoy your puzzling.

Thanks. Yes, I realize it's all there within the chart settings. Puzzling puzzle indeed. It seemed so much more practical to have it as in the video, where you could simply select multiple things right there to the right of the chart.

What threw me off eve more, is that the screenshots on goldencheetah.org still show it the old/good way.

So on GC 3.0 it is what it is and I'm not missing anything?
    Thanks.

If you're on gc3, you're missing the usability of gc2.

Looks like so. Why would they make it worse? Can I get GC2?

Good example of reasonable decisions resulting in bad design. The programmers thought, well all of these pages are obviously just subclasses of "chart", so let's make the UI reflect that.

This is why I like WKO - it's usable!

Someone should fork GC and just copy the WKO UI so it matches really closely.

I wanted to come back to this to say that I am now perfectly happy with GC 3.0 and loving it.
Their FAQ file in conjunction with a google groups message board clarifies everything. It is truly the most powerful software and very useful.

I tried WKO+ quickly one night and did not like it nearly as much.
