Elite digital trainers?

Anyone have experience using the Elite brand digital trainers, mag or fluid with watts readout? My concern is just how accurate is the watts readout with these units. I know that they will not be very accurate compared to the on bike units (cranks or rear hubs) and from what little I have read they are about 5-10 watts difference. That tolerance is ok with me, but I would like to know if this measurement is real or just some gimmick to help sell these trainers.

Wife had one...

Her numbers were not within a 5-10watt difference when compared to a real PM...

They are no more accurate then utilizing a power curve that is based on speed and a regular trainer
