NYC Central Park races

Never raced before but have been riding on and off for years. I'm interested in participating in the Central Park races and had some questions that hopefully can get answered...
-Do I need to join a team to race?
-Can I race with just a USA Cycling license?
-I'm not sure if the Central Park races are only for CRCA members?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

A better place to ask would be the racing sub forum, which you can get to if you scroll down a bit more in the list of forums.

I'll move it there.

it really depends on what central park races you're talking about. The NY Spring Series races are open races. Mengoni is an open central park race. CRCA Club races are closed to anyone but club members. You would need a USAC license and be a club member in good standing. Meaning you've paid your dues, and you're up to date on you marshalling duties.

You do not need to be on 'a team' to race anywhere in any context.
