I don't think it's quite that simple.

FF/Wylde - Ooh Graston. That's fun. So much fun. I loved the sound of the scar tissue cracking. It's such a pleasant sound.
MDcatV/Creatre - I agree with Creatre on the suicide issue. There are a lot of things that can be going on in someone's head. I try not to judge.
Hack - The LBS is likely going to go through Scott. If it's just the fork, they may just send you a replacement fork, which would be a quick and easy swap.
As for Robin Williams, he filmed a movie out here a few years ago and did a lot of the local rides. People who rode with him speak pretty highly of him as a person. A buddy of mine had just moved here around then and ran into Williams at a stop light. My buddy didn't recognize him at first and they started chatting.
My buddy: "I just moved here from Virginia Beach, so I'm not used to riding these hills, and I don't really know where I live."
Williams: "Well, I'm here visiting from Northern California, so I don't mind the hills. But I don't know where you live either."
(I've heard the story several times.)
Then the light turned green, and they went on their separate ways.

It was. I think I underestimated what it was going to take. I discounted the distance because I did ok in Dirty Kanza last year. And I discounted the altitude because I've done ok riding road bikes in Colorado at that altitude.
Leadville was definitely harder than I gave it credit for.

Warranty question for you all...I have a bike that I need to take in for a warranty issue and I assume some of you have dealt with this in the past. If the bike is deemed appropriate for warranty, can the shop warranty with something on the shelf or do they have to go through the manufacturer for a new item? The warranty issue is a cracked fork on a Scott Foil.

Colorado people: a few more Texans headed your way on Friday, including me. We'll be at Aspen for the USAPCC stage 1. Look for the FIAT jerseys.

I think it's sort of like racing for the first time, now that you know what to expect you can prepare a bit better for it.

This is "Junior was crying every now and then so now I'm going to check BF" time.

Been saving up the last few months for my new bike. Last week that money went to my sister in law's sewage drain. =\ She's got three kids, and her husband left after impregnating another woman, so the family has to subsidize them at times.
In one way it totally stinks, another way it feels kind of good to help out.
I'm still getting the bike, albeit on credit

I raced without gloves last night.
I rode a bike (not mine) without a helmet.
To complete the trifecta I put my hands on the hoods for a while.

Wait, I heard you won at the Rent last night. Without a helmet?!
My newbie teammate was there racing his first crit. He's super-strong, I want to get your AP number for the race so he can protest that it's impossibly low.

Cool, enjoy! I hope you'll get to ride. I'm only going to see the boulder start, too much travelling in my near future, can't deal with going out to the mountains.

Severe depression is a very difficult disease to treat. Sometimes treatments work. Sometimes they do not. Moreover, it's a disease that convinces its victims that their loved ones would really, truly be better off without them. Knowing that those friends and family members love the sufferer usually is not the point. The depressed brain is simply convinced that they are wrong. In that light, I think calling suicide "selfish" is misguided at best.

Commuting in this morning a car pulled out from a right-side stopsign a little close to me, but MUCH too close to the car ahead on my left.
Car on my left took the rear trunk/bumper off the car that pulled out and swerved off the road to the right about 30m ahead of me, as I was grabbing brake as it all unfolded.
So loud! So much gunpowder smell from the airbags. So awake this morning too!
edit: break brake

I very rarely wish ill on others, and even when guys or girls cheat there is usually a reason which isn't justifiable but understandable. I draw the line though at physical abuse and child neglect. If he was found in a dumpster I doubt there would be any tears, even from his family.
