On my 9th service manager at the job. This one is going to try and force me to work Saturdays, as did #7 (unsuccessfully).
He has not yet threatened to fire me but instead said he would hire another guy, which would take away part of my already meager income.
I shouldn't have to go through this crap at this stage of my life.

Our dog is probably bored home alone, but at least he has the whole house to himself. Fortunately someone is home a lot of the time.

Ok. It ain't gonna be pretty. I'm fat, low powered and haven't trained appropriately. I registered for the last (this year) in a local Wednesday night crit series. It will be my second cat 4 race and the first time toeing the line in two years after I got knocked down by a bunch of health issues. Not expecting much. I wasn't a strong 5 and I'm heavier and less powerful now. But it is a flat course...perhaps if I can just stay out of the wind...
A pack finish would be a huge stretch result. But here is the more likely scenario - projected power graph

Outside of base jumping, I think this is the most dangerous sport. Speed skiing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Though, somewhere, I'm sure there is a sport about chasing venomous snakes or underwater volcano spelunking something else I don't know about.

I was never addicted to games but I do play games because I find them up. Used to play lots of SC2 and BF2, BF4 and now LoL. I have a good balance between gaming, programming, work, and cycling.
Somewhere in there my fiance fits into the picture, but she's been busy so....lol.

Don't really game anymore since the time commitment is huge (back then I played 10-14 hours a day) and I hate being mediocre (my reaction time has diminished with age).
All I do now is work, cycle, and write.

Starsiege Tribes #1 ranked team in the world Feb 2000- May 200 (Pissed off Ewoks). Its nice to be the best at something at least once, even if it was a crappy video game. I had a bout playing WoW for about two years (Uther, Spinebreaker) but it was a colossal waste of time. 3 months to get fully geared, then a patch comes out and you do it all over again.

Even now, all I play is LoL, and I rarely get mad when I lose.
What I typically do is log on my computer, start some programming fora bout an hour, then take a 30min break to play a game of League and in between deaths I'll alt+tab and do some more programming. Then I usually spend another 2-3 hours programming and watching Netflix.
I'm decent at multi-tasking.

Good luck though. Stay on wheels, don't end up behind the wrong person/people, and don't let a gap go.

I was typically much more casual in my gaming. I never cared to be the best, but I just enjoyed the social aspect with friends.

Just race and let everything sort itself out. Good luck.

The thing that I see wrong with the graph is that there's any kind of value after about minute 10. For me, for most races, the graph would read zero after minute 10. Go until you blow.
Good luck though. Stay on wheels, don't end up behind the wrong person/people, and don't let a gap go.

- I'm just planning on getting out and having fun with it and being safe and steady as possible. No expectations except to give it what I've got. Thanks!

Before I started cycling I got addicted to Unreal Tournament. I'd stay up way too late playing clan matches or just hanging out on servers fragging all comers. Wasn't awesome at it but became somewhat proficient. While it was a lot of fun, my wife wasn't too pleased with the time I spent staring at a computer monitor and once I gave it up I realized what a colossal waste of time it was. Also helped me along on my weight gain at that stage of my life

I played SWG at launch and for about 3 months then had to quit because they nerf'd AT-ST's.
My best gaming moment of all time is from SWG. Came into Tatooine with my 3 AT-ST's, and just kept mowing down Rebels after Rebels. It was usually 1-2 shot to kill one guy and all I had to do was target people and they'd be dead.
Pretty sure I killed about 40 guys over and over for about an hour till I decided to log off. I then switched my profession to BH and ran around eye-shotting people. Great times. Oh and listening to that dorky music in the cantina was great.
What really pissed me off is how they lied at the beginning that you could become a Jedi, it was just hard and you had to figure it out on your own. WHen in reality, they lied about the whole thing and you couldn't become one until they released some patch in the future. Dirty liars!
