Try posting about someone else using their brakes...(there was no name calling that I recall...)

I didn't see anyone resort to name calling, actually I thought the whole exchange (as needlessly long as it was) was fairly fine.

Go get a muffler and stop annoying people.

I have a muffler, and sorry you're so easily annoyed that thinking of a loud car over the internet makes you feel the need to comment.

Fair enough. I viewed it as unnecessarily brash for bike pictures, but we're all different.

Regarding name calling, I believe that thread, or its predecessor, has had countless blow ups, name callings, and time outs.

People used to rip on my old bike all the time, I was told it was a garage sale bike, stolen out of a trash bin, etc. To an extent there was a certain honor in having a crappy bike. It was 16 lbs on the nose shifted like a dream (campy ftw) and rode really smooth until the carbon next to the fork cracked.

District Christmas party, people getting down on tequila at 12 in the afternoon. I passed as that was a one way trip to throwupville at my afternoon squat session.

I prefer espresso blends (not a fan of single origin espresso shots) and good espresso blends are around twice as expensive as good drip beans IME. My favorite espresso blend is undrinkable if you make drip coffee with it. And most of my drip beans would make for mediocre espresso at best.

The specific comment was about brands of frames and tiers of quality.

My understanding is that coffee and chicory came about due to the effectiveness of the Union's Civil War blockade. Coffee ran short, so the locals came up with chicory as a means to stretch it.
