For sure. I've been meaning to hook up with globecanvas for the longest time too actually. If we all survive snowpocalypse/snownado/snowmageddon/snowtomic bombing/etc let's get somethin goin.

I had to work on a stinky car today, smells like a dumpster inside, then I noticed cockroaches running around the floor. I opened the trunk to access the battery and there were more roaches in there. Yuck.

Lifting with good technique or not, shoveling a whole walkway or driveway can generate some reasonable cardiovascular strain

BBC News - Why do so many people die shovelling snow?

His team found that when healthy young men shovelled snow, their heart rate and blood pressure increased more than when they exercised on a treadmill.

I have a white saddle now...so I guess this means I'm ready to upgrade.

That's how this racing stuff works, right?

The only thing that means you're ready to upgrade is your saddle

it'll be brown in no time.

To think I almost waxed my XC skis yesterday.

Maybe I'll go for a bike ride.

I'm battling impulse buying some. Renting is just so inexpensive here though.

Sounds like the Northeasterners are underwhelmed by the snowfall, which is a good thing. Me, I just went through a block where I was riding in nasty weather most of the time - temps in the 30s and low 40s, humidity in the 90-100% range and windy, and more riding in the rain than I've done in a while. Now I'm in a recovery week - it's warming up, sunny and less humid and windy, and I've got three days off the bike. If it ain't one thing, it's another...

If I look outside and the pavement is wet, I go back to bed, so here I am. I really don't like rain.

As if that were an issue in Phoenix.

I used to spray the shovel with Pam or WD-40 to keep the snow from sticking. Had to dig out the ex's car once at the end of the 75 foot driveway with about 2 feet of snow. After I dug it out I had to put on the wheelset with the studded tires.
Long day.
