I drive a 15 year old Honda. My mother in law is staying in our tiny apartment this week so I'm taking her car to work. New supercharged Audi. I can't believe they sell these cars to the public. Who the hell needs a sedan that does 0 to 60 in 4.8 seconds? I mean, I appreciate it and laugh hysterically when I press the go pedal, and I like the heated steering wheel and random features, but I'd rather have many, many nice bikes instead of a nice car. Traffic still makes my commute the exact same time in any car. It's just slightly more relaxing in a moving bank vault.

I've had 2 A4 wagons. They've both been great cars. If I win the lottery, I'm flying to Germany and picking up an RS4 wagon. Because sometimes you need to drive 190mph to get to Target and Costco.

I sent my annual happy birthday text to a childhood friend and found out his current obsession is snowboarding. He's coming down to Big Bear in a few weeks, looks like I'm going to have to learn how to snowboard!

Thinking of registering for 5 different races at Tulsa Tough. Friday 6:15pm, Saturday 10am & 3:25pm, Sunday 8am & 12:20pm.
Is that ridiculous?

er... yes?
I've raced twice in a day lots of times, and I've done 3-day stage races, but never two races many hours apart on consecutive days, plus an evening race before.

My answer is always "can you race? Race."
Headed back out to super bowl stuff, it's the last night of festivities and supposedly there are a half million people over there. I don't believe it... There's a lot, I know that, because I can't get my car out, but there can't be that may. That's an eighth of the Phoenix metro population.

If you're there for the experience, then do whatever you want. If you want to get results, I think you might be stretching things a bit.

I woke up a bit earlier than normal, got up, check on a few things at work, was going to get dressed & shower to go to work, then saw a reference to some football game today ..... It's Sunday, not Monday ..... d'oh !!

****! Another broken spoke on the ride home tonight. Good thing I brought my spoke wrench. I guess I'll have to have a pro fix this issue. Kinda annoyed, the mechanic just built this for me a couple months ago.Oh and a flat tire also on the way home (with a new tire, too).

I just bought a new helmet - an Evade. Going to have to step up my game to avoid looking like a superannuated poseur.
