I chose to ignore what you consider fun. That, to me, is fun.

clarification - are circuit races considered road races for upgrade purposes? i'm pretty sure they are considered crits. But on my usa cycling page my circuit races are listed under road races.

It depends on the distance. See the rulebook for details.

The red kite circuit race is 25.5 miles, so it's a road race for cat 4 (minimum 25 miles). Others are by time so they count as crits. As cat 3 they all count as crits because minimum road distance is 50 miles.

anybody order anything from chain reaction cycles recently? I've ordered from them before and gotten my stuff in a couple weeks. This time it's been over 6 weeks and still no word. Just wondering if customs is slowing things more than usual or if I need to contact them about the order being lost.

I think your definition of mediocre is much higher than mine.

Can we talk Taylor Swift? Let's talk Taylor Swift.

Style is the best pop song since Kylie Minogue dropped Love at First Sight.

...I also enjoy Mastodon and Decapitated...

I need a super-hipster coffee shop between Redlands and thousands oaks along the 10, 210, or 101. I'd also like a really obnoxious hipster gourmet donut.

Anyone?

Ugh ... looking at power data from today's race. Lot's of data drops. Climbing punchy little 10% climbs with 0 power and no cadence.

Drove home in the blizzard after having to go in to work.

Bad News: Brakes failed on the way home ... pedal all the way to the floor, needed the emergency brake.

Good News: They failed just as I was pulling in my driveway !!

Augie's Coffee House

They have donuts too. Bring your beard and singlespeed bike, and hopefully you can make the poetry readings.

The Donut Man in Glendora. So old school, it's hip. Also the second best donuts in LA Metro area.

$100 ticket for parking on the street overnight because of the snow ordinance. It snowed an inch.
