Is there any way to upgrade any of my Sora components, bars, stem or saddle for $100 and find a tangible difference? Going to wait until at least the fall or next spring to get a new bike, but if I can upgrade something in the time being, I would consider it. Then again, I don't even know if taking a few ounces off my 20lb bike would be noticeable.

If anyone has extra saddles, I'll take it! The LBS near me doesn't have the saddle trial program.

I'd upgrade the rear derailleur to get slightly crisper shifting, but honestly there's not a huge amount of difference between groups nowadays provided you're maintaining stuff the way it should be maintained.

If you're happy with your saddle I wouldn't worry about changing it, comfort is more important than saving a few grams.

If it's Sora with the thumb trigger, you might consider upgrading the levers. My son had that on his junior team bike and was never able to shift it from the drops, although that may just have been a function of small kid hands.
