He could move to Gardiner, equidistant between the two of us, shared visitation rights.

Yeah, I think there might be a property there that De Niro (or as the locals call him, Bobby Dinero) hasn't purchased yet.

Here is a pic of my friend Ed from Saturday. We're at the 7000 foot mark, heading up to 8000. There's a huge city under that cloud layer.

After vowing to never drive to Oklahoma again...im considering driving to Oklahoma again. Air fare keeps going up. It shouldn't cost so much to fly to Oklahoma.

Hudson Valley would be ideal for us, if only there were jobs and companies to work for.

Good luck finding a new place. The ex wife and I went through a similar deal in 2000 and ended up in a crappy apartment for 3 weeks. She said it was like a bad vacation.
I was in a crappy condo for a year. You do what you gotta do.

There are plenty of jobs, assuming you like serving coffee, or curating anarcho-syndicalist marionette installations. No companies, though. Well, there's Stewart's.

celebrated my son's 4th bday yesterday, as time passes I often take for granted that things could have ended up a lot differently if not for my wife's intuition (short version: he was growth restricted due to clotting in the placenta and was born at 31.5 weeks). it's especially easy to forget when he's being difficult! lol

Happy Birthday to your son. Time goes by so fast. My daughter is 15 and I'm catching myself mourning her leaving the house while trying to enjoy every moment possible while we still have her (without suffocating her). Enjoy the time (I'm sure you are - especially considering the route you guys to to get here)

Chipotle is like 2.50 cheaper in the Albany area. That counts for something.

Have you looked?

And there are other small cities with big healthcare operations. My town is about 250k people, and the largest employers are all health care - hospitals, medical research, pharmaceutical companies...

Haven't heard the term anarcho-syndicalist since I was at Berkeley. I figured they were a bunch of posers.

First ride on my new Giro Empire shoes today. They feel light and comfortable! And I'm sure I'll eventually get over the fear of tangling a shoe lace in my derailleur!

Those shoes look great. The only thing keeping me away is the inability to adjust them while riding.

Well, deputies were definitely in my back yard last night. They left both gates unlatched. Luckily I found out before my dog did. Idiots, they even knew I had a dog. They could've just asked to come in.

Last night at about 2am my backyard motion light went on. I was half asleep and decided I'd rather get my throat slit than get out of bed and check. It was probably just a coyote going after our dog food.
