Are you guys using TrainingPeaks online, or WKO+ still, or what? (People on Windows specifically I guess, so no Golden Cheetah)
Is there a benefit to using TrainingPeaks online? Can you bulk upload all of your old data? I tried to poke around the site but I couldn't find anything about how to bulk upload all my old stuff and start using TrainingPeaks.
My Device Agent seems to be messing up too. When I upload new data, the date is off slightly. It's set correctly in my Powertap head unit, but it's been showing 2006 instead of 2016. Is it unable to do 2016? Is my powertap too old?

It's a 2.4 SL I think. Not ANT+. So maybe 2008 or so I think? 7 or 8 years old I guess?
Also, unrelated but really cool, I was able to watch my nephew play in a Minnesota summer hockey tournament championship game today, on our big TV, while sitting in PA. The internet is amazing.
edit: I would think they could have foreseen in 2008 that 2016 would probably be a year that would occur, so it seems like that would be a weird glitch.

I turned on ESPN just at the start of the euro final halftime show. I have now been watching for 15 minutes and have learned a lot about Ronaldo's knee but not once have they mentioned WHAT THE DANG SCORE IS.

i am not happy about this CR7 injury (i'm portuguese, so I have a real interest in this thing lol)

That wasn't Argentinian Hand of God, but that mis-called handball surely played a role in the outcome. Portugal was pressing, which is how they initially picked off the ball and led to the ball hitting Eder on the hand. Immediately afterwards, it was the freekick that hit the woodworks. Ball went out of bounds, and it was again a throw-in that got picked off, which set up the chain of events for the goal. Kiscielny was sitting on a yellow and couldn't really defend as closely, and Eder stiffed Kiscielny in the face, knocking the latter off balance, before getting off that amazing shot.
No honor amongst the Portuguese players, from Moutinho, whose pass hit Eder's hand and goes up to ask for the handball call, to Eder, who acts as if he were innocent.
About damn time they allow replay in games to stop bs like this from affecting the game.

Not quite fair to say "no honor," if Eder had said "nope, that was my hand" he would probably not have survived long enough to get to his car after the game.

Of course my bike has developed a squeak the day before I ride with my boss the first time. A bad one. And a confusing one.

Glad you had fun. That's my regular group. I had surgery on Friday, or I'd have been there with you. Some of the best riding roads in the state in Hunterdon County.
What brings you to NJ?

Moutinho had the same angle as the ref -- it looked like the right call in real time even on TV. Very clearly the wrong call on the replay.

At least it didn't end up going into PKs
And to think of all the previously unheralded players of this tourney. Eder and Robson-Canu come to mind. Perhaps they might get more playing time come August
And damn, start of fûtbol season is only 6-7 weeks away...

there was another french player well in position to block the shot and he missed, so I don't have a lot of sympathy for them there, two players were responsible for allowing that goal to happen.
also, i'm slightly amused by the folks saying portugal is the worst team to win this since greece or whatever. maybe not a perfect metric, but portugal is ranked 8th in the fifa rankings and were among the pre-tournament favorites (france 17th, just above turkey), so not exactly slouches. so maybe not the best actual tournament, but they fulfilled expectations. so i don't understand the consternation that the wrong team or underqualified one won this

As an anniversary gift from my wife, I got a hang gliding lesson that I finally got to use yesterday. My son loves watching the video of my first flight because I bit it at the end. He just yells, "Crash!" and "MORE!" over and over.

My gf has family in the area; my parents are in PA. Now off to New York proper for cold skinned noodles, korean fare, and friends.

Had a good ride with my boss. Cycling is the new golf indeed. Bike is steal squeaking. Top tube doesn't feel quite right, and out of the saddle the bike feels awfully bouncy. I'm thinking something broke. I'm gonna pretend I'm wrong and tear down the BB and cranks and pedals tomorrow and grease it all and put it back together and pray.
I doubt Ridley has a warranty on 6 year old frames, although I suppose I'll check in case.

Looks like I sold my Pedal Force fork in 2012. That might mean I bought my Ridley in 2012 sometime, which would mean it's within 5 year warranty. Not sure where a receipt is, must be in some e-mail somewhere though, or on some website, if I could remember where I bought it.
edit: Found it. April 2012, it's a 2011 model. I thought it was a 2010. So that helps. Cracked frame should be covered, if that's the issue.

I use it and like it a lot. 8,000,000x more user-friendly than Golden Cheetah. I'm not a tech-phobic guy, but I fiddled with GC for 10 minutes and I was like F this. Yeah, I could figure it out. But I've got other things I'd rather do with my time. And the graphs are indeed pretty.

I'm also ready to replace/upgrade from my Joule GPS. What kind of devices do 'yall use?
I'm considering a standard Garmin 500, but the 510 and 520 are also appealing. I don't care about the social media aspect, but being able to wirelessly upload rides via bluetooth and my phone sounds sweet, plus they offer an improved GUI to make them nicer to use everyday. Still, the 500 comes at a lower price point, and covers all the bases that I need.
Also, I've been intrigued by the Lezyne Devices (Super GPS), but there are some issues that users post about online and it doesn't have much support which is scary (last update 12/2015). Hmm.
Opinions?
