I'm more confident riders are on under 6.8 kg bikes than they are doping.

I figure the seat post motors is how they make weight. Now we can move on to the moon landing, and with any luck we can bang out the 911 commission report tonight.

I didn't realize until after the stage that it was the Beloki corner.

Wow, Barguil had an inside-line divebomb fail, followed by a tripod fail, followed by a don't bodyslam Geraint Thomas fail. That's a lot of fail for one corner. Seriously, WTF was he doing on the right side of the road?

If the referees see it, it is not cheating, unless they decide it is.

Seeing a 35 year old win today made me think of you. No wonder you can beat 16 year olds. You are near peak TdF stage winning age.

I bowed out of the doping conversation a couple hundred posts ago, but apropos of the magic legs ketone drink, in an article yesterday Froome was quoted as saying "All of it is absolute rubbish. From what I understand the team nutritionist looked at ketones but said he didn’t think it would be something for endurance cycling. It is not something that interests us."

The article is here. On the off chance that you don't have an online subscription to the Times of London, Betsy Andreu has quoted the article on her FB page.

Today's decent should not be in the tour. This is a reason riders should organize.
