First track race.

I did my first track racing today , too good! I absolutely loved every minute of it. Did four races, ITT, 2000 Pursuit, Scratch Race and Keirin (sp). Raced 'C' grade and got a third in the SR. I'm blown away. Now I got to get me a track bike

There's nothing like swooping down the banking and picking up 15mph in the process.

How long is your track?
Ours is a 200m, and it's a SCREAM.

250m. https://www.duncgrayvelodrome.com/index.html
It's our Olympic Vel. A great track by all accounts and only 20 minutes from my place so I'll be training there at least once a week and probably racing about the same. Got to get a bike, got to get a bike, got................................

Event Services is correct, Bloomer Park is a scream!!! Anyone within a days drive of Detroit should check it out. You will never be the same.

I've heard that the Friday nite racing run by the C/Coast Craft bros. is in jeopardy due to dislike of Paul Craft by the federation. Something about his commentary I believe. There's an AGM tomorrow nite at Bankstown Sports centre at which the president will elected. Many of us WVCC are going to be there to vote.

Seems that all thing being equal the Crafts will do their thing again this season. I'm there.
