Dinotte Taillight
I purchased one of these from Peter White and have to say that I love it! Yes it is pricey but it is the most noticeble tailight that I have seen. The mounting system works fine and does direct some of the beam downward but still very visible from directly behind. It also has a flasher mode that I use and especially in this mode it is quite noticeable. $120 or so is less than my deductible for the emergency room.
