No actually I dont, but then of course I'm relating to the old first generation Shimano '600' STI that was on my bike. The left inner lever shifted to the big ring, while the left brake lever shifted it back to the smaller ring. And the WD-40 solution was recommended by many riders in the know as a possible "fix" for gummed up, unresponsive brifter shifting. So I would'nt necessarily call that junk.
