Well AZ has a lot of cyclists and it gets very warm here, especially in the summer.
Not to mention the warming spell the east coast had recently with all this new fangled high wattage cycling headlight technology. Then it started to get cooler and all the wimpy cyclists stopped riding and it got even colder after that.
