Not having a garage or basement I normally work in the yard but as it was both cold and dark Sunday afternoon my wife let me use the dining room to replace my rear brake pads, I'm not sure whether she would let me put hooks in the ceiling

By the way... do people who work in bike shops have more than two arms - I found setting up the brakes incredibly fiddly....
