I start off with a mostly empty Carradice Nelson. One hour into the ride we stop so that everyone wearing synthetic cool weather gear can strip. If they're prepared they roll up their clothes and bungie cord it somehow to their bikes. If they're not, and they're cute, I volunteer to carry their stuff. Sometimes they get to see the Longflap in action. I do that twice before I suggest they look into buying a bigger bag to hold the stuff they obviously feel they need.
