the monocog and (suprisingly) the stout seem like a good investment. steer clear of that gt for no other reason than the eccentric bottom bracket. it can be a difficult thing to set up correctly and some work better than others. i'll wager since the bike is kinda 'budget' that it doesn't work as well as the G.F. rigs do.
