SMALL frame for sale...possibly

Hi,

Well, it's in my head now that I need to build a fixie and I've been searching for info and parts for a week or so. Today, I was at the local thrift store and found an old Lotus International. The bike is complete.

The cranks are 165 (stamped 88B, meaning February 1988 I believe) which is what I was after but the frame is tiny, about a 46cm center to top. The rear dropouts are almost completely horizontal, which would make this an awesome fixie project for that smaller rider. The frame is lugged Cromalite, the forks are Cromalite 503 (if I remember correctly) and the wheels are 27" Araya.

The crank, upon further inspection, is a fairly cheap SR but the two rings are riveted together, NOT bolted! So, the question becomes whether or not I want to use this crank or just send the bike down the road complete.

The frame is about 10cm smaller than what I need, so it's basically a waste for me to build it.

If anyone is interested I will let this thing go super cheap. Make me an offer or e-mail and I'll send some pictures out. I'm in Connecticut if that helps.

Nikonshooter@hotmail.com (please put a BIKE message in the subject line so I don't trash the e-mail thinking it's porn.)

Thanks,
PJBAZ
