Silly question but I cant really see anywhere decent for them to go. I even tried zip-tieing them to the mudguard but my coat covered it.
Try building extenders for your lights so they can be attached to the sides of the bike. It depends on what kind of light you have, but it probably is possible to make the extenders and mount them off the seat stays (the top tubes of the rear triangle of the bike that holds the wheels).
