I'm a little worried about that big hill outside of Camarillo -- I've almost destroyed the transmission on my car a couple of times on that grade. I'd hate to try and ride that on a bike. Does the ride go that way?

I think it goes on Santa Rosa between Moorpark and Camarillo.
If the grade you are talking about is on the freeway, that is called the Conejo Grade. If you were on surface streets, it is Portero. This ride goes on neither. Really, it isn't that tough a ride.
