To dish or not to dish

Just changed my 6sp friction to a 7sp. I did a quick and dirty measurement of the space between the rim and the chainstay. 13mm on one side, 15mm on the other. So it's closer to the non drive side by 1mm. I'm not too keen on the rules of dishing. Is this an acceptable difference or should I adjust?

BTW. I'm using centerpull brakes with adjustable posts, so I could always kick one pad over more than the other. So brakes don't seem to be an issue.

thanks.
