Garmin Edge 305 Drawbacks

Okay-I've only had the Garmin about 3 weeks and used it on 7 rides. The two biggest drawbacks I've run into are recharging and data.

Recharging is easy....however one time I forgot it was still at the house plugged into the receptacle and didn't have it for a ride!!!!!!!

As far as data, for 6 years I've recorded ride information into an excel spreadsheet I built. It allows me to compare ride information over time-I can do some really nice graphs and charts for data comparison.

I quickly learned that the Garmin stores previous ride information both in the Training Center or Motioned Based so I didn't have to record the ride information after each ride. I'm in the process of transfering and recording the info into my spreadsheet for 7 rides and that's NOT FUN.

I know, I know........why record the data to begin with........hey-I'm an engineer and figures keep my world spinning.

Otherwise the Garmin continues to be a really nice toy for me!!!
