If you ride long enough you eventually don't even notice the snot. I know it is time to wash my tights when it looks like they have been tie-died.
Blowing snot rockets is not a great deal of fun when it is -10 wind chill. The beauty of winter clothing is that it isn't hard to find something soft and absorbant to wipe your nose on if you must.
Nobody said Winter Cycling was pretty.
