I recently installed the two leggged stand and was dissapointed. First, if you reduce the leg length you also reduce the "stance". Secondly, I find that you have to park the bike on a very flat, level surface or you risk the chance of a decent wind blowing the bike over. That's just what happened to me as I parked the bike on the side of the road that was not perfectly flat. At least with a single leg stand I could have turned the bike around so that it leaned into the downward slant of the road.
