Just be very careful with your bike on the roof rack. I'm sure there are others on the board that could relate to stories of ruining your bike by not looking overhead for low roofs, overhangs, drive-through windows. etc. I have a buddy that trashed his 2 year old Serotta by driving into a garage without looking. It was dark and he was tired (actually his wife was driving - even worse, but all was foregiven). My Litespeed with carbon forks has never had a hint of a problem on the roof, although I prefer it inside if room allows. Good luck.

Despite your "lousy" weather I bet mine is worse. Temps have dropped a lot in the last week. It's summer in the land of OZ isn't it? It is snowing here and I'm stuck inside for now.
