I work in a hospital, so people make it in unless it's one of those "perfect blizzards," which we haven't had in several years. But I am so glad that I don't "have" to drive on these snowy and icy days. Riding or walking is a pleasant adventure for me, but a death-defying trek for the car people. When I'm pedaling past them in the parking lot, and they're scraping snow in their dressy little jackets, I call out in my cheeriest voice, "I sure am glad I don't have to
drive on a day like this!"
